Clear Creek won the last time they faced Dickinson and Elissa James did her part to make sure it happened again. The Wildcats came out on top in a nail-biter against the Gators on Tuesday, sneaking past 3-2 with plenty of help from James, who had 20 digs and two aces. She has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more digs the last ten times she's played.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Clear Creek who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 19-25, 25-11, 21-25, 15-9.

Clear Creek's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tristen Golden, who had 15 digs and one assist.

Clear Creek was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Despite the loss, Dickinson still got an impressive performance from Athina Rodriguez, who had 20 digs and one assist.

Clear Creek is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 20-16 record this season. As for Dickinson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 20-14.
