Volleyball Recap: Chillicothe Beats Bishop Hartley for Their Tenth Straight Victory

Chillicothe waltzed into their match on Tuesday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They put the hurt on the Bishop Hartley Hawks with a sharp 3-0 victory. This was payback for the Cavaliers, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Chillicothe walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-13, 25-16.

Mercer Cutright paced Chillicothe's offense, picking up 14 kills. Cutright got some help from David Rourke and his 34 assists. Isaac Herlihy controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Chillicothe's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-1. As for Bishop Hartley, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.
