Softball Recap: Castilleja Gators vs. King's Academy Knights        
        
		
            
 Castilleja was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Monday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They fell victim to a  rough 20-5 loss at the hands of the King's Academy Knights. That's two games in a row now that Castilleja has lost by  exactly 15  runs.
  Lexie Stinson was cooking despite her team's loss,   scoring two  runs while going 2-for-2.
 Even though they lost, Castilleja was hitting in the alleys and  finished the game with three  doubles. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as King's Academy didn't  hit any.
 On King's Academy's side,  Sophie Giles was  incredible,  going 3-for-3 with four  runs, four  RBI,  and a  triple. The team also got some help courtesy of  Bella Giles, who  got on base  in all three of her plate appearances with three  RBI, two  runs,  and a  triple.
 Castilleja's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for King's Academy, their win was  their fifth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 14-2.
 Castilleja will take on Notre Dame at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Castilleja is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 10.6  runs per game  this season. As for King's Academy, they will head out on the road to  take on  Castilleja at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
