Baseball Game Preview: O'Dea Fighting Irish vs. West Seattle

The O'Dea Fighting Irish are taking a road trip to face off against West Seattle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. O'Dea is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

O'Dea might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 6-5 to Lakeside, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for West Seattle's offense. They fell 3-0 to Garfield on Monday. West Seattle has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West Seattle's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for O'Dea, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Everything went O'Dea's way against West Seattle in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, as O'Dea made off with a 10-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for O'Dea since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
