Baseball Recap: Boonville Comes Up Short

Boonville's last matchup with North Posey could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Thursday. The Pioneers lost 11-2 to the Vikings. The Pioneers have struggled against the Vikings recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Boonville's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for North Posey, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Boonville will take on Southridge at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Posey, they will square off against Evansville Reitz at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
