Basketball Recap: Thousand Oaks Starts Season with Victory Against Ventura

Thousand Oaks had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the Ventura Cougars, posting a 92-53 victory.

Ventura dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Thousand Oaks will take on Littlerock in a tournament on Wednesday. As for Ventura, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Brentwood School at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
