Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hill City). They breezed by the Floodwood Polar Bears to the tune of 98-39 on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Hornets sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Hill City's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-7. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30 points. As for Floodwood, they are on a 40-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hill City will host Nashwauk-Keewatin at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Floodwood, they will face off against Mesabi East at 7:15 p.m. on January 31st.
