Basketball Recap: 14 Straight Home Victories for Franklin-Simpson

There's no place like home for Franklin-Simpson, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 61-36 margin over the Greenwood Gators on Tuesday. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 21 points or more this season.

Reesha Cawthorn was her usual excellent self, putting up 18 points along with eight boards and five assists. Lyniah Brown was another key player, going 7 of 13 en route to 14 points in addition to six rebounds and four steals.

Franklin-Simpson smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in nine consecutive contests.
