 Deer Valley scored the most  runs they've had all season to find success  on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Lee Williams Volunteers with a sharp  15-3 win. Deer Valley might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won six matches by seven  runs or more this season.
  Adyson Ordway made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  struck out 17 batters over  seven innings while giving up just one earned  (and two unearned) runs off   three  hits (and not a single walk). Ordway has been consistent recently: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in six consecutive pitching appearances. Ordway was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances with a  double and  an  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Samantha Romero was  excellent,  going 2-for-2 with two  doubles and two  RBI.  Taylor Passalacqua was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 1-for-5.
 On Lee Williams' side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Jade Russell, who  scored a  run while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Ashlynn Schritter, who  went 2-for-3 with a  stolen base and two  RBI.
 The  victory (which was Deer Valley's fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-8. Those victories were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.0 runs per game. As for Lee Williams, they have  not been sharp recently as the team has  lost five of their last six matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6-1 record  this season.
