Volleyball Recap: Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter Comes Up Short

Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter managed to slip by Indianapolis Bishop Chatard the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Raiders lost 3-0 to the Trojans on Tuesday. The Raiders just can't catch a break and have now endured seven defeats in a row.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-10, 25-12.

Indianapolis Bishop Chatard can attribute much of their success to Andrew Moriarty, who had eight digs and five assists. Those five assists gave Moriarty a new career-high. Andrew Taylor also deserves some recognition as he had his first kill of the season.

Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Indianapolis Bishop Chatard, their victory bumped their record up to 9-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter will take on rival Monrovia at 7:00 p.m. on the 30th. Meanwhile, Indianapolis Bishop Chatard is set to square off against their familiar foe Guerin Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
