Softball Recap: O'Gorman Find Success

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but O'Gorman ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They came out on top against the Jefferson Cavaliers by a score of 4-1. This was payback for the Knights, who suffered a 13-6 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Mary Koch spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits and racked up seven Ks.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Sonia Deckert, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
