Basketball Recap: West Hall Comes Up Short

West Hall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a 61-43 bruising from the Jefferson Dragons. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 381st, while the Dragons are ranked 66th).

West Hall's defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Jefferson, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Hall will face off against Cherokee Bluff at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Cherokee Bluff's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Jefferson, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Oconee County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
