Basketball Game Preview: Pecos Eagles vs. Anthony Wildcats

The Pecos Eagles will square off against the Anthony Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Pecos has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since November 22.

Last Friday, Pecos was beaten by Presidio 71-21. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1478th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 610th).

Meanwhile, Anthony might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Santa Teresa an easy 79-53 victory. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pecos' loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Anthony, they now have a losing record at 9-10.
