Baseball Recap: Clovis West Extends Road Winning Streak to Seven

Clovis West proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by seven) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Hanford Bullpups, sneaking past 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Golden Eagles have posted since May 21, 2024.

Clovis West saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Marcus Jackson, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Clovis West's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-4. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Hanford, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-8.
