Preview: West Boca Raton Bulls vs. Inlet Grove Hurricanes
The West Boca Raton Bulls will play host again and welcome the Inlet Grove Hurricanes, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. West Boca Raton will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 387th, while Inlet Grove is ranked 136th).
Last Friday, it was a hard-fought match, but West Boca Raton had to settle for a 46-44 loss against Somerset Academy - Canyons.
Meanwhile, Inlet Grove entered their tilt with Pahokee with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Inlet Grove blew past Pahokee 61-22 at home. With Inlet Grove ahead 35-14 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Inlet Grove found their leader in underclassman Robert Brown , who scored 23 points along with 6 steals. Brown is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ty?Rique Alty, who scored 9 points along with 5 rebounds.
West Boca Raton's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 1-5. That rough patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points per game. As for Inlet Grove, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.
