The Stratford Spartans will square off against the Jordan Warriors at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Stratford is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. Everything went their way against Heights as they made off with a 55-35 win. The Spartans' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Stratford's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cody Hanlen, who picked up 203 receiving yards and four touchdowns. Those 203 receiving yards gave Hanlen a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Matthew Selesky, who threw for 214 yards and four TDs while completing 83.3% of his passes.
Another reason for the win was Stratford's imposing defensive line, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. Bradley Olivera refused to say out of the backfield, picking up two sacks all by himself. Stratford got some further help from Olivera: he picked up two sacks, forced one fumble, and made six total tackles.
Meanwhile, Jordan's contest on Friday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. They claimed a resounding 45-13 victory over Foster. 45 seems to be a good number for the Warriors as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Jordan's win came from a few key players Stratford will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Patrick Spann, who rushed for 75 yards and a pair of scores. He is also on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in each of the last three games he's played. Landon Williams was in the mix too, providing Jordan with two touchdowns.
Jordan didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Foster to a completion percentage of just 20%. The Warriors hasn't an opponent to post a completion percentage of 0.4 or higher in four consecutive matchups.
Jordan is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 36.8 points over those games. As for Stratford, their record now sits at 5-6.
Stratford might still be hurting after the 31-10 defeat they got from Jordan when the teams last played back in November of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Warriors' Tanner West, who rushed for 202 yards and three TDs while picking up 8.8 yards per carry, and also picked up 57 receiving yards.
