Basketball Game Preview: Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors vs. Concord Academy Eagles

Metrolina Christian Academy hasn't had much luck against Concord Academy recently, but that could start to change on Monday. Meanwhile, you're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Concord Academy on Tuesday. They came out on top against Gaston Christian by a score of 57-50. The win was familiar territory for Concord Academy who have now won three matchups in a row.

Metrolina Christian Academy better keep an eye on Justice Alexander. She was instrumental in Concord Academy's win, going 11 for 24 on her way to 31 points in addition to six boards and three steals. Alexander's evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Smith, who went 6 of 14 on her way to 15 points and seven steals.

Concord Academy has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. As for Metrolina Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 10-5.

Metrolina Christian Academy was dealt a bruising 65-26 defeat at the hands of Concord Academy when the teams last played back in January of 2024. Can Metrolina Christian Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
