Basketball Recap: Johns Creek Takes a Loss

Johns Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a hard 65-47 fall against the Gainesville Red Elephants. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Gladiators this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 47-33 back in December of 2024.

Johns Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Gainesville, they pushed their record up to 12-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Johns Creek will take on Chattahoochee at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Chattahoochee will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Johns Creek surely won't give up without a fight. As for Gainesville, they will square off against Seckinger at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
