Football Game Preview: Hamilton Aggies vs. Fultondale Wildcats

The Hamilton Aggies will face off against the Fultondale Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Hamilton's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.

Hamilton is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Sulligent 55-6 on Friday. With the Aggies ahead 42-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Mason Holloway was his usual excellent self, throwing for 252 yards and five touchdowns on only 18 passes, while also rushing for 35 yards and one TD. Another player making a difference was Eli Harris, who gained 139 total yards and a touchdown.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Hamilton proved: they limited Sulligent to a paltry 3.4 yards per carry. The Aggies didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 6.4.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Fultondale, who bounced back after a loss on the road on September 12th. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 23-20 victory over Dora last Friday.

Hamilton better keep an eye on Brandon Woodall. He was instrumental in Fultondale's win, rushing for 208 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 12.2 yards per carry, and also picking up 59 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Hamilton pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 48.0 points over those games. As for Fultondale, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.
