Basketball Recap: Pickett County Takes a Loss

Pickett County was the 58-39 winner over Gordonsville when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Pickett County Bobcats fell 55-43 to the Gordonsville Tigers on Tuesday. The game marked the Bobcats' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Pickett County's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 19-6. As for Gordonsville, they pushed their record up to 16-9-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

Pickett County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. We've got a battle between Tigers coming up. Gordonsville is facing Whitwell at the right time seeing as Whitwell is stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
