Hillsboro Christian Academy came tearing into Saturday's contest with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Adams County Christian Eagles by a score of 31-18. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 45-31 back in December of 2024.

Hillsboro Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Darby Yeager led the charge by putting up eight points along with 17 boards and six steals. Yeager has been hot, having posted eight or more rebounds the last seven times she's played. Another player making a difference was Emma Korte, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and ten boards.

Hillsboro Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 14 offensive rebounds in five consecutive matchups.

Hillsboro Christian Academy pushed their record up to 12-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 19.6 points over those games. As for Adams County Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Hillsboro Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 37-26 victory against Milford Christian on the 10th. Adams County Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
