Basketball Recap: Midway Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Midway can now relate to. They were just a bucket shy of victory on Thursday and fell 43-42 to the Saltillo Lions. The defeat continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Lions: they've now lost four in a row.

Midway's loss dropped their record down to 13-17. As for Saltillo, they are on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 19 games. That's provided a massive bump to their 26-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Midway nor Saltillo have any future games scheduled.
