Rockford East won against Jefferson on Wednesday with six runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The E-Rabs beat the J-Hawks by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 6-3. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-3 on Wednesday.

The victory made it two in a row for Rockford East and bumps their season record up to 2-14. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs in those games. As for Jefferson, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-23.
