Basketball Recap: Kings Mountain Mountaineers vs. Ashbrook Greenwave
Kings Mountain lost against Ashbrook back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Kings Mountain Mountaineers took a 77-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ashbrook Greenwave. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (63), the Mountaineers still had to take the loss.
Several Mountaineers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ethan Daniel, who posted 17 points in addition to five assists and three steals. Daniel continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Silas Tate, who went 5-for-11 to rack up 15 points and six assists.
