Basketball Game Preview: SS Seward vs. Eldred Yellowjackets

SS Seward will kick their season off against the Eldred Yellowjackets on Thursday. Tip off is scheduled at 6:30 p.m.

Eldred is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 64-15 win over Fallsburg.

Eldred's victory bumped their record up to 1-0.

As for SS Seward, they've got a clean slate this season. Last year, they finished on the wrong side of .500 (1-4), but they'll be hoping to turn things around this year.

SS Seward beat Eldred 59-51 in their previous matchup back in December of 2017. The rematch might be a little tougher for SS Seward since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
