Baseball Recap: Penn Manor Comes Up Short

Penn Manor had lost five straight on the road, but on Saturday they dropped down to 3-6 to make it six. They lost 7-0 to the Central Dauphin Rams. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Comets of the 5-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2025.

Penn Manor saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Oliver Hanna, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one double.

As for Central Dauphin, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.8 runs over those games.

On Central Dauphin's side, they got a great performance from Evan Londono as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over six innings pitched. Londono has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Timmy Parker, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Sean Demartino was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Penn Manor has already played their next matchup, a 7-2 loss against Manheim Township on the 13th. As for Central Dauphin, they will face off against State College at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
