Baseball Game Preview: Pallotti Panthers vs. Boys Latin Lakers

Pallotti hasn't had much luck against Boys Latin recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Pallotti Panthers will head out to take on the Boys Latin Lakers at 4:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, Pallotti didn't have quite enough to beat Severn School and fell 9-8.

Everson Vaughan made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Gus Chackmakian-Lodge, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Even though they lost, Pallotti was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .379. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Severn School only posted a batting average of .174.

Meanwhile, Boys Latin came up short against Park School on Friday, falling 9-3.

Pallotti's record now sits at 1-1. As for Boys Latin, their record is now an identical 1-1.

Pallotti couldn't quite get it done against Boys Latin when the teams last played back in March of 2024 as they fell 8-3. Can Pallotti avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
