Softball Recap: Milby Buffs vs. Austin Mustangs
Milby stacked a 12th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They blew past the Austin Mustangs 10-2. Winning may never get old, but Milby sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Daniella Juarez and Mariah Burnom did most of the damage at the plate: Juarez scored a run while going 1-for-2, while Burnom scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Veronica Martinez was another key contributor, scoring a run while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
Milby has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. As for Austin, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Milby does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Austin also has no future games currently scheduled.
