Softball Game Preview: Uniontown Red Raiders vs. Ringgold Rams

The Uniontown Red Raiders will venture away from home to square off against the Ringgold Rams at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Uniontown and 13 for Ringgold dating back to last season.

Last Friday, Uniontown came up short against West Mifflin and fell 6-2.

Uniontown saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Graci Rodeheaver, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI. Juliet White also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Ringgold's offense. They came up short against West Mifflin on Monday, falling 12-0.

Ringgold's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Uniontown, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Everything went Uniontown's way against Ringgold in their previous meeting back in April of 2023, as Uniontown made off with a 9-1 win. Will the Red Raiders repeat their success, or do the Rams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
