Baseball Recap: Lincoln Takes a Loss

Lincoln lost against Piedmont Hills last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Lincoln fell just short of Piedmont Hills by a score of 8-7. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lincoln saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Graeson Wagner, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3. Another was Jonas Gamez, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Piedmont Hills, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Lincoln wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 8-1 victory against Evergreen Valley on the 25th. As for Piedmont Hills, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 9-6 loss against Leigh on the 22nd.
