Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Nomar Diaz stepped things up a notch to give Odyssey Institute the 'W'. Diaz scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances, which was good enough to set a new career-high in stolen bases.

Looking ahead, Diaz and Odyssey Institute will look to defend their home field on Monday against ALA - West Foothills at 3:45 p.m. The Guardians will enter the matchup having just beaten Parker, so the Minotaur will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
