Basketball Recap: Long Trail Skates Past Leland & Gray with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Long Trail). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Leland & Gray Rebels 62-22. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Long Trail pushed their record up to 7-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.7 points per game. As for Leland & Gray, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Long Trail will square off against Twin Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Leland & Gray, they will take on Green Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
