Baseball Game Preview: Bolton Bulldogs vs. Hale Ray Noises

The Bolton Bulldogs will head out on the road to square off against the Hale Ray Noises at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. Bolton has given up an average of 8.8 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Bolton is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 11 runs on Wednesday, they were much more limited against Suffield on Thursday. They lost 13-1 to the Wildcats. The Bulldogs' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Hale Ray lost a heartbreaker to Coginchaug Regional when they met back in May of 2024, and they left with a heavy heart again on Friday. The Noises came up short against the Blue Devils, falling 10-4.

Hale Ray has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season. As for Bolton, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-13.
