Basketball Recap: Broken Arrow Extends Home Winning Streak to 11

Broken Arrow extended their home winning streak to 11 games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from McKenzie Mathurin. The Broken Arrow Tigers walked away with a 47-40 win over the Union Redhawks on Thursday thanks in part to Mathurin, who almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine rebounds. Her evening made it 13 games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

Broken Arrow's record is now 12-1. As for Union, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-4.

Broken Arrow won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Enid at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Broken Arrow is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 63.2 points per game this season. As for Union, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll face off against Bixby at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Bixby will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Union surely won't give up without a fight.
