Lake Weir's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They never let the Dunnellon Tigers onto the board and left with a 3-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Hurricanes, who have now won three contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Lake Weir's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-5-1. As for Dunnellon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-6.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Vanguard the next time they take the pitch. Dunnellon will host Vanguard at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Lake Weir will host them on January 7, 2025.
