Nando Mirarchi commands the offense for Ramblers win

The Cathedral Prep Ramblers had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 34 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They secured a 63-57 W over Meadville. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cathedral Prep to victory, but perhaps none more so than Nando Mirarchi, who scored 16 points. Amaree Pickens was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.

Despite the loss, Meadville still got an impressive performance from Jack Burchard, who scored 27 points along with two steals. That was a full 47.4% of Meadville's points, marking the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Kellen Ball, who scored ten points along with six rebounds and two steals.

Even though they lost, Meadville smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cathedral Prep only pulled down three offensive rebounds.

Cathedral Prep's win bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Meadville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-7.

Cathedral Prep will head out on the road to take on Harbor Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Harbor Creek is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 51.3 points per game. As for Meadville, they will be playing at home against McDowell on Friday. McDowell has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 336 points over their last five matchups.
