Justin Garza picked up another tournament win on Friday. They secured a 74-70 W over the Santa Ynez Pirates. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Guardians.

Santa Ynez's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jude Pritchard, who went 7 for 15 on his way to 18 points. Lucas Ollenburger was another key player, going 5 for 8 on his way to 15 points and seven rebounds.

Justin Garza now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Santa Ynez, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-3 record this season.
