Marion County was led to victory by Valencia Alridge, who turned in her biggest game of the season on Tuesday. Alridge went 7 of 13 on her way to 18 points along with seven boards and five steals. The effort marked the most points she has had since back in February of 2024. She has become a key player for Marion County: the team is 10-5 when she posts at least five steals, but 1-2 otherwise.

Alridge and Marion County will be playing at home against Macon County at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup will pit Alridge up against the Bulldogs' star shooting guard Aliyah Lake.
