Baseball Game Preview: North Knox Warriors vs. Sullivan Golden Arrows

The North Knox Warriors will challenge the Sullivan Golden Arrows at 10:00 a.m. on Monday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with five losses in a row, North Knox turned things around against Paoli on Tuesday. They won by a run and slipped past the Rams 3-2.

Levi Pahmeier spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on four hits and racked up nine Ks.

North Knox hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Paoli struck out nine times.

Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, Sullivan rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They walked away with a 9-5 win over the Thunderbirds. The victory continues a trend for the Golden Arrows in their matchups with the Thunderbirds: they've now won four in a row.

North Knox's win bumped their record up to 3-14. As for Sullivan, their victory bumped their record up to 18-7.

North Knox came up short against Sullivan when the teams last played back in April, falling 8-5. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
