After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Moanalua, Pearl City was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They put the hurt on the McKinley Tigers with a sharp 34-13 victory. The Chargers haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

The victory got Pearl City back to even at 2-2. As for McKinley, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Pearl City will face off against rival Waialua at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, McKinley is set to challenge their familiar foe Castle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
