King's Academy won the last time they faced Emmanuel Christian, and  Gavin Ruberg did his part to make sure it happened again. King's Academy strolled past the Emmanuel Christian Eagles with  points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game  69-55 thanks in part to  Ruberg, who  went 15 for 21  to rack up 36  points along with seven  assists and seven  boards. That makes it three consecutive games in which  he has scored at least a third of King's Academy's points.
  Luke Dubois was another key player,  putting up ten points in addition to five  rebounds and five  steals. That's the most  steals  he has posted since back in November of 2024.
 Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Zander McKnight, who  put up 27  points and three  steals. McKnight is  on a roll when it comes to  steals, as he's  now  grabbed three or more in the last five games he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Zion McKnight, who  earned 16 points and five  assists.
King's Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Emmanuel Christian, their record is now 16-4.
 Coming up, King's Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Varsity Opponent  at 7:45  p.m.  on Thursday. Emmanuel Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
