Trey Rush Turns in Season-Best Performance
Trey Rush produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Grady to the win on Friday. Rush rushed for 203 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries, and also picked up 63 receiving yards, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up two sacks, forcing two fumbles, and making 13 total tackles (5.0 for loss).
The victory was the fifth in a row for Grady, bringing their record for this year to 7-1. Rush and Grady will head out on the road to challenge Floyd at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Effort from Brycen Barnes Leads Roy/Mosquero over Floyd
Brycen Barnes produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Roy/Mosquero to the win on Friday. Barnes rushed for 163 yards and four touchdowns on only nine carries. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making three total tackles and defending two passes.
Floyd's probably not too fond of Barnes given he always seems to get the better of them. Barnes rushed for 48 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 42 receiving yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Broncos duked it out back in September of 2023.

Gonzalez-Lopez Made His Presence Known in New Mexico School for the Deaf's 58-26 Loss
While New Mexico School for the Deaf might've come up empty on Thursday, Alex Gonzalez-Lopez wasn't going down without a fight. Dora had no answer to Gonzalez-Lopez as he picked up 129 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 84 yards on only ten carries.
New Mexico School for the Deaf dropped their record down to 2-4 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Gonzalez-Lopez will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant performance when he faces off against Arkansas School for the Deaf on Saturday.

Deakin Ragland was instrumental in extending Grady's winning streak to five on Friday. Nobody could stop Ragland as he picked up 71 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 50 yards and a touchdown.
For the season, Ragland has caught 5 touchdowns while averaging 35.1 receiving yards per game.

Santiago Lopez Makes It Two for New Mexico School for the Deaf
