Basketball Recap: Warden Snaps Nine-Game Streak of Losses at Home

There's no place like home for Warden, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They took down the River View Panthers 68-52 on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 63-43 back in December of 2024.

Warden's victory ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-12. As for River View, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.

Warden and River View could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings. Warden will take on Okanogan at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday down 242 places (279 vs. 37). Similarly, River View (ranked 362nd) will meet Granger (ranked 175th) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
