Bridge Creek's game  last Friday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  6-5  victory over the Cache Bulldogs. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  win the Bobcats have posted  since April 5, 2024.
 Bridge Creek let  Ryan Russell and  Ethan Taylor run wild. Russell  scored a  run and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances, while  Taylor  scored a  run while going 2-for-4. Taylor also  hit a  double, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was  Jake Gerken, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases.
Bridge Creek's victory  ended  a  three-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 7-13. As for Cache, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record  this season.
