It was a good run, but Bishop Ward unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Kansas City Christian School Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Thursday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-5, 25-17.

Bishop Ward's defeat dropped their record down to 7-16-1. As for Kansas City Christian School, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8-1 record this season.

Bishop Ward wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 0-0 tie against Atchison-Maur Hill-Mount Academy on the 11th. As for Kansas City Christian School, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Lutheran on the 10th.
