After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Community Christian Academy, Jefferson Davis Academy was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Sandhills Bucks by a score of 2-0. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Bucks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

RYNN FICKLING paced Jefferson Davis Academy's offense, picking up five kills. FICKLING got some help from ABBY DEERING and her eight assists. RILEIGH YORK controlled things from the service line, finishing with nine aces.

Jefferson Davis Academy's record is now 13-11. As for Sandhills, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-10.

Coming up, Jefferson Davis Academy will host Community Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Sandhills does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
