Joliet West has gone a perfect 4-0 against Joliet Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Tigers will take on the Steelmen at 5:30 p.m. Joliet West is coming into the match hot, having won their last ten games.

On Tuesday, Joliet West beat Oswego East 2-0.

Joliet West got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 30-28.

Meanwhile, Joliet Central earned a 2-0 win over Romeoville on Tuesday.

Joliet Central easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-19.

Joliet Central is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-17 record this season. As for Joliet West, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-8.

Joliet West beat Joliet Central 2-0 in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
