Soccer Recap: Corinth Holders Comes Up Short on the Road Against Clayton

Corinth Holders had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Clayton Comets, falling 6-2. The loss continues a trend for Corinth Holders in their meetings with Clayton: they've now lost four in a row.

Benancico Aguilar and Forrest Sprowl scored both of Corinth Holders' goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Clayton has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Corinth Holders will head out on the road to face off against West Johnston at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clayton, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 3-3 draw against Heritage on the 18th.
