Volleyball Recap: Hortonville Polar Bears vs. Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts

The Hortonville Polar Bears came up short against the Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts on Tuesday and fell 3-1. The Polar Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Hortonville couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Kaukauna a tough time in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 31-29, 23-25, 25-20, 25-16.

Keagan Wilkinson paced Hortonville's offense, picking up 12 kills. Wilkinson got some help from Nathan Tousey and his 27 assists.

Sam Hussin had a dynamite game For Kaukauna., getting 11 digs, three aces, and two blocks. Those 11 digs gave Hussin a new career-high.

Hortonville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Kaukauna, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-11.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Hortonville and Appleton East will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kaukauna has already played their next match (against Waterford), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
