Soccer Recap: Woods Cross Takes a Loss

Woods Cross was the 1-0 winner over Alta when they last played one another back in October of 2016, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 4-3 on Thursday. One thing that didn't help Woods Cross' chances was the red card they were dealt courtesy of Sydney Oakes.

Lily Grace Garff and Brie Nydegger scored all three of Woods Cross' goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Woods Cross is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5. As for Alta, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-3.
